2012 Society Sales Inspections

Please note that inspection at our 2012 sales will rigorously enforce the Bye Laws of the Society. Sheep mouths, testicles and hair/wool will be inspected. There is a simple message; do not bring sheep which have small testicles, uneven sized testicles, are wrong in the mouth or have excessive black wool. A council member will accompany sale inspectors and vet to ensure that all sheep are inspected to the required standard. In addition no artificial colouring agents are allowed to be used on the hair on the legs and head. Colourless oil is permitted to be used on the head and legs. Colouring wool is acceptable with recognised show dips.
