Western Area Branch Welsh National Suffolk Show 2026 – Rhaeadr Flock Takes Overall Champion
Date: Saturday 9th May 2026
There was another strong turnout in the ring at this year’s Western Area Branch Welsh National Suffolk Show 2026, with several classes attracting more than 20 entries, reflecting the continued growth and popularity of the event.
Presiding over the judging was John Gibb of the Cairnton Flock, who tapped out the overall champion — a yearling ewe from Myfyr Evans’ Rhaeadr Flock, A12:25:02887, by Rhaeadr Northern Champ.
Standing reserve overall champion was the ram lamb from Arnie Oare’s Groes Flock, SHK:26:04582.
The reserve male championship went to a ram lamb from Georgia Delves’ Chaseley Flock, DK24:26:04570, by Richhill Black Belt, while the reserve female championship was secured by a yearling ewe from Dafydd Jones’ Frongoy Flock, NAT:25:11964, by Rhaeadr Razzmatazz.
