On Friday 17 April 2026 East Anglian Suffolk Sheep Club once again were able to hold our Carcass Competition.
This year the Club held the competition at HG Blakes Ltd, Felthorpe, Norwich by kind permission of Mr. Andrew Clarke. There were a total of 12 entries which comprised of 6 Pure Suffolk lambs and 6 Suffolk Cross Lambs. The crosses were by a Suffolk Ram.
The Judge was Mr. Hamish Beaton (AQM)

The Presentation took place at 6 p.m. with Hamish from AQM talking to members about his decisions and placing. The judge was impressed by the quality and consistency of the Pure Suffolk and Suffolk sired carcasses on show. Chris Partridge thanked the Sponsors and Andrew Clarke for all their hard work in making it a huge success. Special thanks to Tom Stocking for once again delivering all of the lambs and sorting them on arrival at the abattoir.
