Suffolk Females Trade to 2,000gns at 30th Annual Show & Sale
Friday 31st October 2025 – Exeter Livestock Centre
A big line-up of Suffolk females saw trade peak at 2,000gns for the second-placed ewe lamb from Ross Lawrence, Iddesleigh.
The first prize shearling ewe from Brandon Roth, Redruth, realised 1,800gns, with further entries from the same vendor selling to 1,600gns and 1,500gns, along with aged ewes to 1,050gns. Andy & Wendy Reed, Blackborough, achieved 1,300gns for their best shearling ewe.
Robin Irwin and family, Kings Nympton, were awarded Champion Female in the pre-sale show. Their champion reached 2,000gns but remained unsold, while her ewe lamb pen mate made 1,100gns.
