Master Judge: Harry Lyons (Cloudside).

What a fantastic turnout for the Midland and Eastern Branch Next Gen and New Breeder Stock Judging Event, held by very kind permission of David & Julie Inman (Lindum Flock) who worked tirelessly to make it such a fantastic event on Saturday 17th May 2025. Many thanks to Harry Lyons our Master Judge for the day also Merrick Pinny who gave an expert trimming demonstration. Next Gen & New breeders had the opportunity to have a go, with myself and Harry on hand to teach them the basic skills needed to trim. David rounded it off with an excellent speech on The Monthly Diary Calendar of the Suffolk sheep – Nutrition, worming, medicine etc. “Brilliant speech David”. Many thanks to everyone involved who made this event possible, The Inman family who provided us with an excellent dinner, Steve & Christie Walker (Christie’s Flowers) Abi Howl, Sam Oakes, Jenny Lyons, Gill & Stephen O’Donoghue & all the Committee members on the day who helped to bring this event together. Many thanks to our generous sponsors; The Suffolk Sheep Society, Aytin Shears, Horner Shearing. Lastly a big thank you to our Next Gen/New Breeders for attending, we hope you all enjoyed the day.
